He was a senior member of engineering staff at the attached Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute in South Korea. He earned a Ph.D. in computer science from Iowa State University in 2006. His research interests include deep learning, machine learning, and intrusion detection. Prior to joining Iowa State, he worked at two Bay-area startup companies and at the Electronics and Telecommunication Research Institute in South Korea. He received a science master degree in computer science at Sogang University in 1994 and a bachelor of engineering (BE) degree in computer science and engineering at Hanyang University in 1992. He has published more than 150 papers and keynote speeches in international conference, journals, book chapters and books. He has received numerous awards from KOFST, IIBC, Korean Ministry of Education, etc. and has been a gust editor of several journals, such as Sensors, Applied Sciences, and Electronics. He is a Busan-Kyungnam regional chair of Korean Society of Engineering Education. </p>

<p style="text-align: justify; font-size: 14pt !important ; color: black;">Dr. Javed I. Khan is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Science at Kent State University. Dr. Khan's research team specializes in applying multi-are expertise to cross-cutting problems in large scale cyber/network infrastructure, perceptual engineering and modeling of complex systems. Dr. Khan's lab is currently working on network based systems, next generation network architecture, cross-layer communication, and active and programmable networking. His cross area research has been funded by various agencies including the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA), the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), the State of Ohio, and the international financial institute, World Bank. Dr. Khan has authored over one hundred reviewed publications and has served as editor for more than one hundred articles in his field, and served on national panels about next generation communications.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify; font-size: 13pt; color: black;">Dr. Hanumant Singh Shekhawat is working at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering. He did his postdoc at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Eindhoven University of Technology, and The Netherlands. His research was on multi-linear data (tensor) reduction techniques, which have applications in video/speech processing, MRI, and (higher dimensional) data analysis. He completed his Ph.D. in Nov 2012, from the Department of Applied Mathematics, the University of Twente, The Netherlands. His research was related to optimization problems in sampling and interpolation. He has completed his master’s (in 2004) from the Department of Electrical engineering and his bachelor’s in Electronics and communication engineering (in 2002) from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and Rajasthan University in India, respectively. After the master’s degree, he worked in Texas Instruments India and Sasken Communications India for around four years in the area of electronics, software, and algorithm development. He had a visiting faculty position at the University of Pardubice, the Czech Republic from May to June 2019. Currently, his work is related to problems in radar, tensor, speech, signals, and systems.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify; font-size: 13pt !important ; color: black;"> Russell McMahon has been teaching IT related subject matter since 1980 and has been a faculty member in the School of Information Technology at the University of Cincinnati since 1999. He is the assistant director for the undergraduate BSIT program. Prior coming to UC he has taught at several area high schools and spent more than 8 years in the IT world. He is very active in the IT-related user group community having served on the boards of multiple groups. Since 2018, he has served as the host chair for the local Cincinnati SQL Server annual conference. In 2014, he spent 6 months working at three universities in three different countries (Rwanda, Kenya, and South Africa) in Africa doing IT curriculum development and giving talks on creative problem solving. In the past 2 years, he has given workshops on improvisation for scientist and technologist to enhance their communication and teamwork skills. He spoke at the 2018 eLearning Africa conference held in Kigali and he was a keynote speaker at the 2019 Congreso Internacional de Ingeneria de Systems (CIIS) in Lima, Peru. In February-2019 served as a Fulbright Specialist at Miras University in Shymkent, Kazakhstan where he worked with the computing faculty to help with their technical English and teaching as well as he taught improvisation techniques to students and faculty. He is also the faculty advisor for the UC Improv student group. He serves as the national treasurer/secretary for the ACM SIG in IT Education. He is a Fulbright scholar and in 2022 will travel to Uzbekistan to teach at a local university.</p>
